Relay For Life
Fundraising effort by the Canadian Cancer Society - Wellington County unit
Let's Spend The Night Together - June 18 + 19, 2010
The Relay For Life is a 12-hour non-competitive relay
in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Teams of approximately 10
people camp out for the night and take turns walking around a track.
The track is lined with Luminaries which are candles lit ‘in honour’
or ‘in memory’ of someone who has had cancer.
With live entertainment, team challenges and wonderful food participants and volunteers alike help make cancer history! Cancer Survivors are encouraged to register for free to be honoured during the ‘Survivor’s Victory Lap’.
For more information, please contact the Canadian Cancer Society Wellington County Unit at 519-824-4261 or register online at www.cancer.ca/relay.
There is a $10 participant registration fee which covers a t-shirt and meals. Participants raise a minimum of $100 that goes right into the community to help those with cancer in need and to fund research. Please consider being a part of this amazing event that is truly unforgettable.
