Trans Canada Trail - the all season trail runs through Fergus, following mainly old railway lines. The existing portion of the trail runs 47 kilometers from Elora to the Forks of the Credit. The Trans Canada Trail will eventually provide an unbroken link from coast to coast and north from Calgary to the Yukon.
